ODM leader Raila Odinga is continuing with his tourof Western Region and will be in Budalangi constituency on Wednesday, July 20,2016 to consolidate support ahead of the 2017 polls.

– The party now claims that there are plans to disrupt Raila’s tour of the region especially in Budalangi,Ababu Namwamba's Constituency.

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) now claims that there are plans by a section of its rebels to disrupt party leader Raila Odinga’s tour of Busia county.
Through a social media post, ODM director of communication Philip Etale has claimed that the party has received intelligence of planned disruptions by a section of leaders, and has warned that Raila supporters won’t allow that to happen.
“We have information that some people have been burning the midnight oil planning how to disrupt ODM leader Raila Odinga’s rallies in Budalang’i tomorrow,” Etale claimed Tuesday, July 19.
ODM top leaders have accused the ruling coalition of ‘buying’ the rebel leaders from the party ahead of the 2017 polls in a bid to split the CORD strongholds.
