Nominated MP, Isaac Mwaura, has ditched Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) for Jubilee saying his former party is a sinking ship.
Mwaura, who is planning to vie for the Ruiru parliamentary seat on a Jubilee Party ticket, said he has realised that ODM is an empty shell and that is why he will drum up support for President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election in 2017.
He said he has realised that majority of Kenyans support Uhuru’s re-election and that is why he abandoned CORD leader, Raila Odinga, who he termed as his political mentor.
A section of ODM leaders and supporters have criticised Mwaura for betraying Raila Odinga who nominated him to Parliament in 2013 to represent people with disabilities.
